BASIC SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR BUSY BRIDES-TO-BE

If you're looking to achieve a flawless makeup look but you're a busy bride-to-be, it's important to start with an EFFECTIVE basic skincare routine. Lucky for you, we’ve got some insider tips from a professional esthetician (aka ME!) on good skincare techniques to follow before applying your makeup.
Follow these steps!
Cleanse
First things first, cleanse your face thoroughly! Use a gentle cleanser that suits your skin type and wash away any dirt or oil that might be on your skin. Your goal is to have a clean canvas for your masterpiece!
Exfoliate
Next up, exfoliate! Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and reveal fresh skin underneath. Some girls would skip this step, thinking that cleansing alone would remove all impurities, but that’s FALSE! This will not only serve as your double cleansing but will also help you reveal your even, radiant skin!
Hydrate & Moisturize
After exfoliating, it's time to hydrate and moisturize (my favorite part)! Use a lightweight moisturizer that suits your skin type to replenish moisture and keep your skin hydrated throughout the day! It could be a serum or gel; it depends on you! This is a must for a smooth makeup base
Sunscreen
NEVER! I mean, NEVER forget your sunscreen! Apply a generous amount of sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. This helps you avoid premature aging and makes your skin look healthier!
Primer
Finally, the most important step is PRIMER! Use a primer specifically designed for your skin type and concerns (always check the labels of products you buy! If you choose the wrong one for you, you may end up looking like melting butter or dry as sand!). Primers help create an even surface for makeup application while minimizing the appearance of pores or fine lines.
