From foundation to eyeshadow palettes and everything in between, drugstore brands invested in research and development to create formulas that rival their expensive counterparts. Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara has been a staple in the beauty industry for over 40 years. It’s a classic that has always had a special place in our makeup kit, so it’s surely our top recommendation!

The Maybelline New York’s Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick is a trustworthy, matte lipstick that delivers on its promise of long-lasting, high-impact color. Its texture is to die for, and you can always find it at your local drugstores too! It’s velvety– you can effortlessly apply it on your lips and it dries down to a beautiful matte finish. Also, the pigmentation is incredible; whether bold or neutral, it always produces a rich/opaque color!
The lipstick’s staying power is impressive, even through meals and drinks. I’ve tried brands like Anastasia, tarte and they hold nothing to this color stay. The only drawback is that it can be difficult to remove, so you may need an oil-based makeup remover(totally worth the extra work IMO).
