The mascara everyone is talking about!

We’ve all seen the mascara ads—you know, the ones with the perfect lashes that you just have to have!
Just about every ad you see for mascara claims, it will give you those gorgeous, long, voluminous lashes, it shows someone wearing… you guessed it, FALSIES! It’s so frustrating to buy mascara after mascara and never look like the ad you saw! Let me tell you, I’m still looking for that ad where there are no falsies, and I have yet to see it, but when I do, I’ll be the first in line to buy that mascara! Unless you were blessed with them at birth are, we envy you!!), the only way to get these amazing lashes is FALSIES!
PROS: Inexpensive ($5-30), fast and easy application (5-10 minutes), easy removal, endless options/styles, no maintenance, no damage to lashes
CONS: 1-day wear, can feel heavy/uncomfortable on the eyes
PROS: Cost effective ($50-75/application), last 1-2 weeks, no mascara needed, comfortable, quick application(20-30 minutes), very natural look
CONS: Difficult to apply(best if done by a professional), special remover required to remove them before they fall off on their own
EXTENSIONS - INDIVIDUALS
PROS: Lasts 2-4 weeks, Sheds naturally, Most natural look
CONS: Expensive ($150-350), Must be done by a trained professional, Maintenance ($50-75/refills), Lengthy Application Time (1-3hrs)
In my opinion, I think all are great options, it just depends on what your needs are and how much you want to spend. Each comes with its benefits!
For special events I recommend the strip lashes because they are cost effective, fast to apply, and have so many style options. We also have special techniques we use to get the most comfortable fit for our clients!
If you’re looking for a longer lasting option, I recommend the clusters. The clusters are more cost effective than the extensions. They’re great for a family vacation, a bride going on her honeymoon, or just someone who wants low maintenance lashes (with no long term commitment)!
If you’re interested in trying out the clusters, we are now offering them as an add-on to our makeup services or as a stand alone service during our regular Friday hours 9am-1pm (when we get to start operating like normal again, hopefully soon?)!
